One hundred years ago this year, one of the most influentials writers of YA fiction and more, Madeleine L'Engle, was born. L'Engle wrote science fiction, non-fiction, memoir, spiritual philosophy, poetry, and plays, but perhaps she is best known for her brilliant science fiction/fantasy adventure A Wrinkle in Time, which is considered one of the best YA novels of all time. It is in celebration of Madeleine L'Engle and this book that the Middle School and Key Stage 3 British school students perform A Wrinkle in Time.
"On a dark and stormy night, young Meg Murray and her little brother Charles Wallace embark on a dangerous quest to find their missing father. Under the guidance of a mysterious trio, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which, they will journey beyond the confines of imagination to confront an inconceivable darkness. Only the power of love can save their father -- and the universe -- from the evil of IT."
With the use of special effects, projections, music, physical theatre and more, the students will bring to life this story of time and space travels from earth to various other planets through the process of tessering. Children and adults of all ages will enjoy this fantastical journey taken by Meg and her friends as she searches for her father and herself despite what seems like impossible circumstances.

Tickets can be reserved online or in-person at the Theatre Services Office. After making an online reservation, tickets must be paid for and picked up at the Theatre Services Office, room L106 in the 1F of the Lyso Center for the Performing Arts. Hours for pickup are:
